Hiking Trails

The trails are cleverly designed. Each trail takes maximum advantage of the beauty and vistas of the area with extreme care given to preserving the land, vegetation and wildlife. Land-scaped urban trails have multiple entrance points to ease the access of residents and visitors.

Camping 

Lush meadows, towering mountain peaks, crystal-clear streams and deep blue lakes attract Arizona residents and tourists to the White Mountains. Whether fishing, hunting, camping, picnicking or passing through, you'll find the high country's recreational sites well-developed and well-maintained. The high country is covered with ponderosa pine, spruce, fir and aspen trees. Wildflowers decorate the rolling green meadows and lush ferns and moss carpet the forest floors. enjoy your camping experience, but always remember to treat Mother Nature with respect.

Bison Golf & Country Club features 18-holes of championship golf designed by PGA Tour star Billy Mayfair. Recently, Bison Homes and Mayfair made the decision to combine their talents and produce the golf and residential retreat. "The golf experience", says Mayfair, "is fun, fair, and provides an enjoyable golf experience to golfers of all levels of ability." Mr. Mayfair spent much of his off-season working on the project with Bison Home’s engineers, with expected completion in the spring of 2008.
